I waited to receive feedback from all pf my beta readers before I started my next round of editing. I appreciated the feedback I received; it was valuable. The editing took longer than expected but the quality of my next draft was improved immensely.
I then wrote a blurb. I think blurb writing is difficult as you are trying to convey a whole story in a few sentences, while convincing potential readers to buy your book.
My novel went out for a second round of beta reading. During this time I organised the cover for my novel, kept up with social media posts as much as possible and continued my learning about marketing.
The next round of edits were minimal. The novel is now with the editor. It is due back in six days. I hope it was well received.
